StudyWithDiya AI is developed by Phandoro AI Labs. This app is an AI-powered study companion designed for students (Class 8–12) in India. Our backend is hosted at studywithme.phandoroailabs.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use the app:
- Account information: Name, email address, and password (or Google account details if you sign in with Google)
- Profile information: Class, age, gender (optional)
- Study data: Study session durations, subjects studied, tips completed, brain training scores
- Syllabus data: Uploaded syllabus images and generated timetables
- Usage data: Which features you use, how often you use the app
- Chat messages: Messages sent to the AI Coach are processed to generate responses
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalised study tips and recommendations
- To track your study progress and show your history
- To generate AI-powered study plans from your syllabus
- To power the AI Coach chat feature
- To connect you with Study Buddies
- To improve the app and fix bugs
4. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect payment information
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone (except for syllabus scanning with your permission)
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — Authentication and Google Sign-In
- Groq (LLaMA AI) — AI Coach chat and syllabus OCR
- Expo / EAS — App distribution and push notifications
These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required to operate each feature.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in the European Union (Hetzner Cloud, Germany). We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
8. Children's Privacy
Our app is designed for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app
